Built in 1929, the Savoy Berlin is a modern, cosmopolitan hotel located in the center of Berlin, 200 meters from Kurfürstendamm and 500 meters from the Zoologischer Garten. The 125 guestrooms are individually designed and feature light décor with wood furnishing. All include wireless Internet access, minibars, televisions with cable channels, telephones and hair dryers.
The hotel has a fitness center complete with sauna and solarium and an in house therapist specializing in acupuncture, reflexology and massage. It also has a roof garden for guests to relax on. The hotel restaurant Weinrot, serves a range of local and international cuisine. The nearest airport to the hotel is Berlin Tegel Airport which is seven kilometers away, at an approximate journey time of 15 minutes. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and the fare to the hotel should be approximately 15 EUR. An airport bus is available that connects to the underground system and there is also a jet express airport shuttle serving central Berlin. A standard bus service also runs from the airport and the best bus for the hotel is the 109. Passengers should alight at Uhlandstrasse.
