The Estrel Hotel Berlin is a four star, superior hotel located adjoining the Estrel Convention Center and Festival Center, which combine to form Europe's largest hotel/congress/entertainment complex. In fact, with 1,125 rooms, the Estrel Hotel Berlin is the largest hotel in Germany. With its size comes a facility with a full range of features virtually everything a guest would need under one roof. The hotel has six onsite restaurants, offering a variety of cuisines ranging from Thai to Italian. There's even a beer garden and a nightclub on the premises. The Estrel also hosts the most successful live show in Berlin, "Stars in Concert", a Las Vegas style stage show. The guest rooms are very generous in size, and come with a comfortably equipped bathroom. These rooms are furnished with a large work desk and a host of modern amenities. Guests will find this hotel easily accessible, only 150 meters from the Sonnenallee S Bahn Station. A bus stops in front of the hotel. The Estrel Hotel Berlin is located just outside the city center and is housed in a large contemporary building with an imposing glass façade and 17 floors. The hotel has 1,125 guestrooms which vary in size and function depending on whether guests are staying short or long term. They have classic style wood furniture and modern décor in light or dark shades. All include cable television, VCRs, direct dial telephones and minibars.
Guests have a number of dining options including Italian, International and German regional cuisines, all represented by separate restaurants located off the atrium space. The grand Festival Centre is connected to the hotel and provides Las Vegas style shows including dance numbers, show music, and regular sporting and concert events. The hotel also caters to large conferences and exhibitions with a capacity for up to 6,000 people. Smaller rooms are available for smaller meetings and audio visual facilities are available for all presentation needs. Guests can also unwind in the hotel's sauna and massage facilities or work out at the onsite gymnasium. Attractions in the surrounding areas include the remains of the Berlin wall (12 kilometres or the centrally located Friedrichstraße (14 kilometres known for its ample shopping opportunities. The nearest airport to the hotel is Tempelhof, 5 kilometres away. The Berlin underground can be taken from Platz der Luftbrucke. Taking line 6 in the direction of Alt Mariendorf till reaching Templehof. The city train line number 42 should then be taken until Sonnenallee and the hotel.
